Red letter day! The nose tube came out around 2:30 p.m. today! Maybe his sore throat will start getting better. He got up and shaved for the first time this morning, so he looked much better when I got here.Earl sitting in chair with his "hug me" pillow.

Dr. orders that he walk five times today. He is to start trying stairs when he gets unhooked from the IVs. If they're talking about this, maybe he will be getting rid of some of the bags soon.
They put in a new IV in his right hand this morning. As soon as the bag attached to the old site empties, they will transfer to the new site and remove the IV from his left hand. That arm has been swollen for last couple of days.
His fever is gone today. He looks like he feels better. Says he's feeling better, too. Getting that tube out of his nose will work wonders.

We are still amazed that our Pastor came up.
Thank you, again, Bro. Glenn.

The picture of the guy in the hospital bed is encouraging. However, the picture of the goofy guy in the suit has to go.
Remember, we don't mad; we get even. What was that comment about the pulpit chair holding a 50 pound heavier Music Minister?
Blessings on you Earl . . . we are thankful the tube is gone.
The Heavy Music Guy (you'll need to ask Bro. Glenn about that one)
I agree with the Heavy Music Guy - although the picture of Stick is kinda scary too! Sorry, Stick, I couldn't resist! I'm so thankful that things are going so well. I know you have a long road ahead of you, but God has already answered so many prayers on your behalf, and I'm so happy for you! We're still praying!
